Project Hope is building a school for disabled children in Hargeisa Somaliland
Suhur Hassan Abib together with a number of her colleagues from Sunny View Public School Toronto, have formed a fundraising committee to raise funds to build a pilot school in Hargeisa,
A plot of land has been donated by the government and the Somaliland Ministry of Education is offering some assistance but due to limited resources, Project Hope is appealing for financial aid to construct this special school for children with disabilities. It is to be calledSunnyView School and will be modeled after and twinned on long term basis with SunnyView School of the Toronto District School Board.
